Established in 1993, American Inline Skating was founded by Greg Keim to serve the growing demand for extreme sports programs. Our mission is to teach extreme sports in a safe, positive environment where participants can learn fast while also having fun. We strive to implement new and innovative ideas to ensure the best possible summer camp experience. American Inline provides a full array of classes for skate boarding, inline skating, mountain biking, BMX and more. For parties, county fairs, festivals and special events our Mobil Skate Park enables recreation agencies, resorts and fund raisers to have the ultimate, interactive action event anywhere in the United States. “As long as I can remember, my first true love was inline skating. Living in Minneapolis, I skated around Lake Calhoun and Lake of the Isles on rollerblades almost every day. I moved to Washington DC in 1989 and skated on the bike trails from Alexandria to Mount Vernon and back again as fast as possible. As inline skating exploded in popularity, I recognized an enormous need in the community for inline skating classes and summer camps. So I chose AMERICAN INLINE SKATING as the name for my business. We branched off into rollerhockey, skateboarding, mountain biking, surfing, BMX, action sports, fitness and yoga. Today, AMERICAN INLINE combines day care for children with extreme sports, action sports and fitness programs for kids, ages 5-14 years old. It’s my job to make sure that all of our programs are fun, safe and affordable. For nearly twenty years, I have done just that.
