(For Ages 5 to 8) Say Good-Bye to the Training Wheels! This camp is for kids who want to tranistion off training wheels. Participants may start out with them but learn to ride without training wheels during camp. Learn how to get on the bike, find balance, stop, start, pedal, coast, basic riding skills, braking and steering. Daily activities include group and private instruction, the safety course, biking games and short bike tours when and if ready. Participants receive a camp T-shirt and sticker. Bring bike – with or without training wheels, helmet, bike gloves, water bottle, snacks in cooler with ice packs and labeled with name. Staff to participant ratio: 1:8. Ages 4-8.

8:45am to 9am - Arrive and gear up
9am to 9:50am - helmet fitting & bike check, discover the easy way to get on and off your bike, find balance, learn how to pedal, start & stop, how to avoid falling over, ride a straight line, steer, brake, rules of the road and more.
10am t0 10:30am Bike riding safety courses and group instruction
10:30am to 10:50am Confidence course and group instruction
12 noon to 12:30pm – Guided bike riding games.
